What to do in an emergency...

Decide what sort of emergency it is, is and whether you can deal with it yourself. If you decide you can deal with it, you can get advice on Emergency Situations and First Aid from NHS Direct or from our own Emergency! and First Aid Self Help pages.

Do you need help?

If you think you need help or advice to deal with an emergency:
  • Call your local emergency services by dialing 999
  • Call the surgery's 'Out of Hours' service by dialing
    0844 477 8629

Surgery 'Out of Hours' Calls

The Little Common Surgery's emergency out-of-hours calls are covered by South East Health. South East Health is a highly efficient and professional organisation administering a co-operative of local GPs.

If urgent medical attention is needed when the surgery is closed, ring the surgery number (0844 477 8629) and you will hear a recorded message giving you the option to be put through to the 'Out of Hours' emergency service.
