Surgery news

Dr Bayles will be retiring from the practice as of 10th September 2019. We wish her all the best for the future and thank her for the 6 years dedication to the practice.........We would like to welcome Dr H Cho as our new GP to Old Town Surgery. Patients of Dr Bayles will automatically be transferred to Dr Cho's care. Dr Cho has spent a year at our Little Common Surgery finalising his training as a General Practitioner and we are very lucky that he has chosen to remain at the practice.

You are required to attend appointments at your registered surgery site.

Please see below for clinic dates. 

OLD TOWN SURGERY PATIENTS

Saturday 28th September 8.45 am - 10.00 am and 11.00 am - 12.30 pm

For patients aged 65 and over 

Saturday 2nd November 8.45 am - 10.00 am

For patients aged under 65 years

11.00 am  - 12.30 pm

For patients aged 65 and over 

BOOKABLE appointments for both age groups are available on 

Monday 25th November between 12.45 pm - 1.45 pm - please speak to reception for an appointment. 

 

LITTLE COMMON PATIENTS 

OVER aged 65 -

Saturday 21st September 8.45am - 10.00am and then 11.00am - 12.30pm 

Saturday 5th October       8.45am - 10.00am and then 11.00am - 12.30pm 

Saturday 26th October     11.00am - 12.30pm 

UNDER aged 65 Saturday 26th October     8.45am - 10.00am 

Please note that flu vaccines cannot be administered between 10 am - 11 am on the walk in clinic sessions. If you are housebound or require a flu vaccine for a child, please speak to the reception team for more information. 

DONT FORGET TO GET PROTECTED FROM THE FLU.

Please don't let your medication run out! order your repeats in plenty of time via email to hrccg.littlecommonprescriptions@nhs.net for Little Common patients or hrccg.oldtownprescriptions@nhs.net for Old Town patients, or in writing to the practice.  The Practice requires 48 working hours to process your request.

Extended Hours 

Following consultation with our Patient Participation Group we have changed our extended hours sessions. We no longer offer Saturday morning appointments but instead offer some early morning appointments at Little Common Surgery for workers, and early morning and evening appointments at Old Town Surgery throughout the week. This will be for pre-booked appointments only. Appointments are available before 8am . Please contact our reception teams to book an appointment.

The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
